"Welcome to this website. It sets out basic information on the new Masters programme in Advanced Architectural Design at the University of Edinburgh. As you will find from our ‘invitation’, the programme has been devised in response to a specific set of contemporary issues. You will also find, in the ‘5 spaces’ and ‘Curriculum’ pages, that participants in the programme will examine these issues through a broad, but precisely circumscribed methodological outlook. The programme is intended to offer opportunities to investigate demanding contemporary issues through a speculative and theoretically informed mode of design.
